Try Not to Breathe
is the first novel by Holly Seddon. It’s a crime story, but it’s not one that I
finished. I got to page 50 and decided to give it up. I think the demographic
that Seddon is writing for is late adolescents or maybe young adults, but not a
“veteran senior reader” like myself. As far as I got, the plot seemed
interesting, but I could not buy into the characters that she was developing. It’s
an age thing. The book just felt too young for me.
